The Omega Cipher authored by Eric Gordon in 2007 is a 3 volume children’s/Young Adult's modern fantasy fiction series through which the author unveils the story of a boy, Robin Scott, who attempts to solve the mystery behind the series of unfortunate events striking his family and in the process unknowingly stumbles over the secrets of the universe and realizes the threat on the cosmos and the truth of his existence.
There is mystery, magic, super natural powers, fantasy and fiction which is capable of taking the readers to the edge of their seats and finally Robin Scott, the next door boy who is destined to win the heart of millions.
Plot of the Omega Cipher Series: - 21 DEC 2012 - END of the WORLD ???
The story of the first book in this series, "Third Eye", starts off in Bristol, UK with the brutal murder of Robin’s father, Alfred Scott. He gets killed on his way back home by a guy wearing a long black jacket. This happens when Robin is just 6 years old. Robin’s mother Janet Malcolm, a lawyer by profession, recruits Mrs. Grant as Robin’s new nanny. Mrs. Grant slowly becomes a part and parcel of Robin’s life. 3 years later Janet is also murdered in the same way as Alfred, using a pistol, by a guy wearing a long black jacket at the cemetery near Alfred’s grave. Mrs. Grant and Robin who accompanies Janet on that day are the only witnesses to this murder. With the very little evidences on these two cases, Mr. Bruce the detective who is looking into the two murders finds it difficult to nail down the culprit.
One day Robin is also attacked by the same killer but he narrowly escapes the attempt. Mrs. Grant and Bruce decide to move Robin to Scotland where his grandfather Mr. Richard Scott, a great magician and a multi millionaire is spending his retired life. But when Mrs. Grant and Robin reach the island of Lismore they are greeted with the news that Mr. Richard is missing. Robin is again attacked in Lismore and while trying to escape falls into an ancient well which leads him to a mystic world which lay undiscovered to humans for several thousand years. There Robin meets a funny vampire, Harky, who was made by Mr. Richard to protect him from the villains.
The only way to get back to the human world is through the third eye of the holy bird Negra which is the symbol of power of the land of Sprytes (small winged people). But Negra is captured by the Trolls. Will Robin be able to return to the human world? Mean while Mr. Bruce finds Mr. Richard in a state of coma in an ancient castle at Lismore. But soon Bruce is also murdered. Alfred, Janet and Bruce are killed using the same gun which narrows down the suspects to a single person.
Who is behind Robin’s family and why? Was Robin's attack and he being drawn to a mystic world part of a Plan?Will Robin be able to stop the evil force from destroying the universe? Will he be able to save the universe from the Big Rip? Will he be able to destroy the virtual universe created by the evil forces? Can Robin defuse the giant black hole? Can he save the world from the dark energy?
All these questions can be answered only if Robin decrypts the Omega Cipher. But will he be alive to decode the mystery. Will Robin sacrifice his life and the lives of his dear ones to decode the secret and save the universe?
